News: When Children Are Raped, Abused & Killed
|
I've created a profile, as if that makes my points any more valid. I will fight for and advocate MM use as long as I live. I cannot understand why people somehow justify in their minds ignoring what D&C says about the use of herbs, in moderation, to enhance the quality of life. It is, in every sense of the word, CHURCH DOCTRINE. That's not my opinion, it IS oddly enough, a fact. I also don't understand how people can justify prescription heroin, yet, take every chance they get to bash marijuana. Another FACT, opiates kill. * Six States participate in the mortality component of the Drug Abuse Warning Network: Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Utah, and Vermont. The rates of opiate-related drug misuse deaths in 2003 ranged from 7.2 per 100,000 population in New Hampshire to 11.6 per 100,000 population in New Mexico. In each of these 6 States, most opiate-related drug misuse deaths involved multiple drugs. * Three opiate pain medications as a group (oxycodone, hydrocodone, and methadone) were involved in 40% or more of the opiate misuse deaths in these States. The involvement of oxycodone ranged from 13% in New Mexico to 30% in Vermont; hydrocodone ranged from 3% in Maryland to 17% in Utah; and methadone ranged from 17% in New Mexico to 46% in Maine. and Last, Marijuana has a total of ZERO kills. Google it. I care so much about the subject because I have been so profoundly affected by this whole conversation. Currently accepted pain treatments have almost destroyed my life. I will defend marijuana, I would be willing to go to jail for it. That's no exaggeration. It has literally saved my life, and made me a substantially better person. These are all FACTS. Prove otherwise, you know, with facts.
I would also like like to add... About connecting growing pot with spiritual things wouldn't necessarily apply to all, however, when you have very literally been saved by a plant that you can grow in your garden, it does become a very rewarding, spiritual experience. In what way is that sacrilegious? Growing and using the herbs that God ordained for our use to treat pain and calling it a "spiritual experience"... Not sacrilegious.
Farmers have described what they do much the same way. They are not called sacrilegious.
