Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield was awarded the Heisman Trophy, beating out Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson and Stanford running back Bryce Love.
Mayfield entered the voting process as the heavy favorite after putting up the best numbers of his career and leading the Sooners to both a Big 12 title and a berth in the College Football Playoff.
